Is there a limit to number of recruits a team can sign? What does that mean

ultimately in the scheme of things? UNC has 39 recruits? Others nearly as much. --- We have essentially gone back in time - almost. In the early 1970s, NCAA football teams often signed large numbers of players, frequently exceeding what their teams could realistically accommodate, in hopes that enough would contribute meaningfully on the field. This practice, known as oversigning, created intense competition and allowed coaches to select the best from a surplus of recruits but often left some student-athletes without the scholarship opportunities they were promised if space did not open up for them. As Franklin noted early he will use both recruiting and the portal to build teams (except this year would notably be heavy portal).

It also kept some good players on your bench rather than playing for some

Points are simply cumulative, are they not?

Some interplay between class size and average composite.
