I think most of us have been avid followers of the football program since

at least the Drunkenmiller days up to now. Back when we started to slay giants of the game or at least be competitive on another level we weren't used to. Texas, Nebraska, Miami, Alabama. Music City Bowl 1998. That year there were rumors of a kid that would make the 1999 team a top competitor. It came true and playing in the National Championship game provided the fuel to land top recruits for several years thereafter. Having witnessed all that really hurts now seeing what has happened to our football program since. I think Pry is a good man. Good ethics, etc. I'm not so sure he's head coaching material. I do think this day and age of having to have tons of money to get the really good players makes it very difficult for a head coach. I think that compounds the problems for Pry. He has gone out during the offseason and hired new coaching staff and has tried his best to bring in better players. I think its unrealistic to expect a much better record this year than last year. Hopefully we can get to at least 7-5. Given all the changes that have been made since last year I don't see Whit firing him after this season especially with the buyout money needed. I think we just have to embrace the suck as they say for a while longer. Probably quite a while longer!

I originally believed the 2025 reset was at least a 2 year project...

Pry set the expectation that this season would be much better than 2024...

No, with contract expiration approaching, this is a decision year. Either

Well said. The Pry ship has sailed, and sunk in relatively calm waters
