Beautiful morning here in VA. BTW: Just woke up..... had this really bad nightmare that we played our first game and got spanked in exponential ways!....anyway glad that's over. Also have this weird dysphoric hangover feeling that I keep getting every year in the Fall...I think I'll go get myself a wellness check (also wondering why isa has this feelin like I just had a botched colonoscopy!) Ok, enough about me.....it is Friday morning is it not?...Looking forward to VT kickoff!!.............OoooooH S**T....didn't turn the page on calender.......has the magnetic pole shifted overnight??....tell me it ain't so!! .....I'm SO DISSAPOINTED....AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN....to infinity..... My feelings:...Disbelief, Denial, disappointment, frustration, anger, confusion, sadness, pain (NOT acceptance yet)..its Groundhog Day!....too many variables to point blame at any one or two or three things....It is a massive ship with tremendous inertia that will need to be SLOWLY turned and still avoid icebergs...tricky That being said...It's strange how I will STILL get excited every gameday for VPI/Gobblers/VT/Hokies!!..lets all still hang with it....at least until (if) the semi-pro "Portal" totally destroys all school identity!
