Nick Saban agrees with my contention that recruiting rankings are not reliable. While I argue that recruiting rankings should be reviewed FIVE years later, Nick Saban was quoted as saying that the most accurate way to rank recruiting classes is three years later. Saban declared, “because I really do think that the most accurate way to be able to rank any recruiting class would be three years down the road.” The Athletic re-ranks recruiting classes four years later and I posted a link to the 2016 re-rankings that also had links to 2014 and 2015. The Athletic re-rankings dropped five or more teams from the top ten rankings from 2014 through 2016. The Nick Saban quote along with The Athletic recruiting class re-rankings support my position that recruiting rankings are not reliable. I'm not making predictions about recruiting. I am reviewing the rankings five years later as a historian and auditor. I've audited the recruiting rankings and they failed my audit. RECRUITING RANKINGS ARE BS!!!!!
