Billy Napier was not bringing in a roster depleted of a lot of their talent last year and beating what James Franklin has assembled. It's a new day and VT will never be caught looking ahead when we do play them. Looking back, VT just wasn't that much better than ODU or Libert the last handful of years. Not as good in a couple instances. I have much respect for what JMU has done in the past. And I wouldn't be surprised if Napier had success as well. This had more to do with VT falling close to the level of a good g5 team. Like I said those days, hopefully, and I feel likely, are over.
