I do. I can't think of a coach BETTER suited to accomplish that...

1) Franklin would represent something mostly unknown at Virginia Tech, which is hiring a BIG NAME head coach, that will bring a buzz and media attention to the program. His very presence will enlarge VT's gravitational field. He will bring an air of credibility to a program starving for it. 2) He knows the coaches and the region INSIDE AND OUT. While the portal has dulled the importance of high school recruiting, and instate recruiting, if he just landed 2 more guys in the VA top 10 each year, he's winning. Does that mean I think he can bring PSU quality classes to Blacksburg anytime soon, or ever? Of course not.
