six Senior Military Colleges in America that along with the 5 federally funded military academies provide a large number of the leaders in our Armed Forces. I was blessed to attend the Commissioning Ceremony at VMI last Friday to give the Oath of Office to my grandson as an officer in the US Marine Corps. The Commissioning Officer for the the 140 officer candidates in five branches of service was US Marine Corps Vice Chairman, Joint Chief of Staff, General Christopher Mahoney. This was a special day for my wife and me at a place that stands for something good in our nation under God.
