think Indiana's rise to the summit happened overnight. Perceptually that may be true to a degree. However, I don't think most people factor in all decisions and "work" the administration did prior to the hiring of Cignetti that was basically done "behind the scenes" if you will. If there are other future Indianas out there, then it could be interesting to see if perception and reality may tell different stories for those programs too. It is possible this era of college football programs may have to figure out a way to give the fans what they want (the perceived overnight turnaround story) while still doing the necessary work behind the scenes.
