I don't think those are the same as buying a coach out. I'm mostly against

giving billionaire owners money for stadiums, but there can be some justification due to potential revenue and economic impact. There is zero justification for taxpayers helping to pay off coaching contracts. FWIW, I thought LSU said all the buyout money would come from private sources.
