Yes, but my guess is that college sports
has not really been about college students since then 1950’s. I think we had all been lulled into a sense of propriety that did really exist. That said, I like what Franklin is doing. He is not focusing on money. He seems to be trying to do it the right way.
My guess is that the vast majority of schools migrate back to the mean eventually. All these schools throwing money at championships only to constantly fall short will eventually run out of steam.
