You can look .....

at how he handled a variety of matters around team as well as off field matters at both Vandy and PSU. He was also not highly thought of at Maryland either. Most thought when he pursued the Southern Cal job it was because his rep east of the Mississippi was catching up with him from both recruiting and coaching perspectives. The previous also dovetails with the clean program assertion. The absence of NCAA compliance issues is not necessarily indicative of the "cleanliness" of a program all around.
