Their "logic" is flawed, Kiffin(overacheiver), Franklin(underacheiver)...

1) They compare Franklin to Kiffin, implying these 2 coaches have similar positioning. This is totally incorrect -Kiffin is in the "overacheiver" bucket right now. If he can do "that" at a Tier 2 program like Ole Miss, he could do greater things at LSU/Florida. He's on the way up. By contrast -Franklin is in the "underacheiver" bucket right now. He's been a long time at a Tier 1 program, with all the resources available, and he couldn't push PSU into the very elite. He's crested, and on the way back down right now. If Franklin fails at a Florida, boosters will point to his known record in big games. If Kiffin fails at Florida, nobody can say a word. He's got the cleanest resume on the market right now. 2) They put Arkansas and Auburn in the same category. I think that's crazy. Auburn is a Tier 1, blue blood program. Arkansas is not. Expectations are very different at Auburn than Arkansas. The problem for VT is there aren't enough Lane Kiffins out there to fill all these Tier 1 positions.
