I do like how he’s pushing the envelope to get the NCAA professionalized

He’s basically prodding at every possible crack to keep earning his college salary since he has no future earnings potential. If he breaks enough regulations in court the powers that be will have no choice but to drop the amateurism charade. If he gets this one through logically playing in “other” divisions will follow, then it’ll naturally evolve to you only lose eligibility for seasons you actually play, meaning you can redshirt indefinitely. There are plenty of QBs out there who will sign that class action suit. The NFL probably wont step in, even when NIL far outstrips rookie pay scales, the NFL will still make a profit off the shorter career lengths. Much more attractive to have a guy peak during his rookie contract then to have to pay him his 2nd deal.
