He'd be a good candidate.

He has only been a head coach at USF for three years so he is a little new BUT he did help them make a big turnaround. He certainly absorbed some of Josh Heupel's offensive schemes but Josh Heupel has been the primary play caller. The linked article below lists him as one of the top G5 coaches. There will be other openings due to dismissals and poaching. Some of the coach hot seat websites include potential openings at Maryland, South Carolina and Florida State.
