Meanwhile, "insiders" at every single of those schools could be hearing "Franklin's deal is close to being finalized!" It's all just noise, and yes - as you wrote, a lot of the stuff you will find on the internet is posted either by fans who simply want to create an image that they have deep connections within the football program of which they are a fan, by "reporters" who want to portray an image that they have deep connections within the coaching community and are able to "get the scoop", or by podcasters who like to be sensational for clicks. All of that aside, I will be very, very surprised if James Franklin comes to VT. I will also not be disappointed if he does not.
