Been a fan since the early, ugly Beamer years and have enjoyed the many years of success that followed, but also endured this decade plus of mediocrity that has us now longing to even be mediocre. There have been plenty of games where I said I can’t take it any more, yet I still go to games and watch them when I can, hoping for better results and maybe the occasional upset (how long has it been?). Yeah, maybe I’m a little delusional, but as hard as it is to keep bailing on the sinking ship, the team needs us now more than ever and I will continue to scream my lungs out - from the stands or from the couch. We are still the best fan base in the country.
