The common denominator for FB success is a 'winning' head whistle that

can attract winning QBs, which Frank Beamer had at his disposal during his best seasons. Looking at the losses this season, we saw each opponent QB outclass our best QB by a wide margin. IMHO, ODU did VT a great favor bringing this problem to a head quickly.
