He's been decent with the portal, but yeah, relationships and recruiting
were supposed to be the strength of his compared to the Fuente era. It's all ugly. Talent is subpar and future is bleak. The Pry tenure has been an abysmal failure.
Beamer stayed a few years too long.
Fuente refused to get rid of Corny, pissed off VA HS coaches, and couldn't recruit a QB.
And Pry has just been bad. Terrible assistant hires, terrible game management, and now terrible recruiting.
And in the span of a few years, our once promising program is unrecognizable.
