MY is clearly a victim of his own success with our fanbase, it’s wild

This program had ZERO talent on the roster following the sweet 16. We had Bede, and 3 guys who didn’t crack the top 200 as recruits plus Nolley in the portal. MY made the tournament 22 months after that, then followed it up with an ACC championship after losing his 2nd best player. We were on track for our 6th straight tournament appearance this year until 3 of 5 backcourt guys went out for various reason. This is a school that has 8 NCAA tournament appearances in 108 years until 2016. We’ve had 5 in the last 7. Recruiting depth/talent is probably at an all time high. Kidd, Rice, and Nickel were consensus 4 star kids and Pedulla, Camden, Wessler, and Rechsteiner were top 150 guys and we’ve proven capable of getting productive talent out of the portal (Aluma, Murphy, Mutts, Basile). More schools than not have the same issues as us, hence why the ACC has fallen off. Schools like Pitt, KSU, etc have proven you can go from bottom feeder to conference contender in 1 offseason
