Opponents had more rebounds, steals, and blocked shots than we did. We outshot them, but that's it. Some folks try to explain it away and blame it all on inexperience. It shouldn't take a squad of veterans to learn to rebound, get steals, and block shots. If it does, maybe you need to dumb down your defense just a little bit. Plenty of teams with a couple of freshmen starting play much better D and rebound than the Hokies.
