Of the top 7 ACC teams, we played 2 home games (Duke, UVA) and 6 away games (UVA, UNC, Miami, Clemson, L'ville, NCSU). Probably the toughest road schedule in the ACC based on the final rankings (feel free to correct me if that is wrong). The record against those top 7 teams might be 2-6, but we had a chance in all of the games. Even after some slow starts, we fought back. Ultimately it was our inability to finish the games strong that cost us in multiple of those losses. Home games: UVA we won Duke, controlled the whole game, but we were within 6 pts with only 4 min left Away games: UNC, we were within 5 pts with 2:45 left UVA, we were within 4 pts with 3 min left Miami, we were ahead by 3 pts with 90 seconds left Clemson we won Louisville controlled the whole game, but we had it within 8 pts with 7 min left NCSU controlled the whole game, but we had it within 3 pts with 11 min left
