In looking through the ACC preseason projections their aren't many with
More than two returning starters. Most projected starting line-ups are filled with experienced transfers.
VT is returning 4 guys who started significant games last year. Lawal, Johnson, Shutt, and Hammond.
Mike Young said as of today he would start Hammond and Avdalas in backcourt, Tyler Johnson at the 3, Lawal at the 4, and Handsberry at the 5. So you have 3 returning starters, a seasoned international player who has played pro ball since age 15 in Neo and a 5th year senior center in Handsberry who seems like perfect fit for MY's system. Who also has played for same assistant coach, Chester Frazier, his entire career.
This is alot of continuity. Lots of PGs and guys who can pass the ball well: Avdalas, Hammond, Handsberry, Pasha. I think this bodes well for season.

Perhaps similar to how Bede was a good shooter when he played with JR...
