If I were the coach, sooner than later, I would start preparing for next year. Toward that end I would consider making a significant change - moving Lynn Kidd to the 4. We have seen enough of Kidd this year that he is not really a 5. I don't see that changing unless he adds 20 lbs, which is unlikely. So, I would play him at the 4 with Beran behind him. At the 5 I would start Poteat and give Wessler significant minutes so that he can complement our new HS recruit next year. Next I would play Young behind Cattoor. He needs minutes now if he is going to be reliable at the 2 next year. So, my rotation would be as follows: 5: Poteat / Wessler 4: Kidd / Beran / Long 3: Nickel / Long / Collins 2: Cattoor / Young / Collins 1: Pedulla / Rechsteiner Once we lose more than half our ACC games, which could be by the end of January I would make this change. Now, this is likely not going to happen. Many fans and boosters would be upset if Young threw in the towel this year. This is why I would never make it as a coach.
