Amazing group of coaches and players

My son is a Youth pastor for a church in Richmond and has connections to our men’s basketball team. He had a family in his church who are big Hokie fans. The dad died extremely unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm. He was early 40's (42 maybe). My son asked the coaches if they could do something for them and they have been phenomenal. They made a video for them expressing their support and invited them up to practice, games, whatever they wanted. The players have been texting with the young son and they asked him to come up to be in the locker room last night for the first game. Mike saw him in the parking lot before the last football game and threw the football around with him for a while, etc. I won’t go into details about every little thing but suffice it to say the program is full of incredible really good people. I can't say enough about how they have tried to reach out to the family and how much it has meant to them in an incredibly difficult time. We really should be extremely proud of the people we have in the program.
