I watched Kidd, Poteat and Camden on D last night. Here's what I saw.
Kidd is a pleasant surprise on defense so far, especially given his defensive struggles in the past. He seems to understand the team concept of defense, and he has the right aggressiveness and athleticism to make it happen. He got beat a few times, but not due to lack of effort.
Poteat really struggled when double-teaming (stretching out) the guard at the top of the key when Lehigh's big set a screen. He either didn't stretch out the ball handler at all leading to an open shot, or he stayed there too long making an easy pass to (and shot by) the roller. He seems to have quick feet for a man his size, so maybe these mistakes can be corrected. I fear he is a year away.
Camden looks like he is thinking too much on defense. He appears to be trying hard to absorb and implement the coaching (set feet, defensive crouch, arms out, etc), resulting in him not playing smoothly. His minutes were limited vs Lehigh, he likely needs a lot more minutes to get comfortable enough to elevate his play.

Good point. I noticed the roller with clear path to the basket a few times.**

I have a feeling Poteat is going to be in foul trouble much of the year
