NC State's Final Four run in 2024... talk about out of left field, "lightning in a bottle." They stumbled in with a 17-14 (9-11) record, having lost 4 in a row. Then, they won 9 straight games! Thank you for not denigrating that accomplishment for Virginia Tech. I really don't understand why some of our fans do that. Well, actually, maybe I do. It is my considerate opinion that they don't want to give credit to the "wrong coach," in their minds. Like Mike Young, hate him, tolerate him, think he needs to go, etc... perhaps much like Cignetti (He wins. Google him.), who brought a number of players to Indiana from JMU and won it all, Young's Wofford players tipped the scale.
