I think the answer is largely no, given that VT seems to have more success with transfers when there was some kind of prior relationship but at the same time, if VT could get a kid that has shown something playing 1 season at the college level vs. a kid coming from high school that *might* contribute in year 1, they probably take the college kid, right?
