Yep I’m an old head at this point on the playground
Im way too slow to stay in front of the kids but it’s really easy to take the ball from them without much effort or beat them to a spot because they can only go one way.
Lots of crossovers, always dribble at the same height (too high) so they’re easy to time. Too focused on hesi’s and crossovers so they don’t use their off arm to protect the ball. They also have no idea how to use screen effectively or play with their back to the basket.
It’s a symptom off curry-ball. FWIW I live in NYC so this is just what I encounter in my corner of Manhattan, it could be different for kids who have more organized training.
