I just don’t like Lawal at the 4. He seemed to get lost often on defense when guarding the 4 and he works better a “rover” to me where he can rotate off a 5 to block shots. His 1-step recovery speed is great and he can block anything. So even a dump down to a 5 he steps off to stop a layup he can recover too. I don’t see that out of Hansberry to the same extent. Johnson offensively is better at 4, and he can more than handle the 4 defensively. Regardless, the playable depth is the issue. If Dorn isn’t of value, then that limits the post versatility and foul trouble is huge (as Hansberry matches best against physical 5s, Lawal is best against bouncy 5s and Johnson can guard basically any type of 4, at least to my opinion).
