With the number of spots we have open, every player we sign is not

going to be sure-fire starting-5 caliber. Some you will be able to pencil in right away and others will grab a fair amount of minutes and provide a supporting role this coming season until they either develop or transfer out. Having a guy that comes in and plays so well this coming season that he is a hot commodity in the portal market is better than brining in a guy that comes in and does squat but sticks around anyway or gets kicked to the curb. This has been the conundrum of the working world for years. The old adage of, would you rather have an employee that is highly trained & skilled ultimately leave or an employee that is neither stick around?
