This thread is fascinating. Shows how thin and thick skinned people are.

I really enjoy GCHokie34's posts because he obviously is knowledgeable about basketball - at least much more than I will ever be. However, when it comes to the postings of the average fan he does sometimes get a little condescending with his responses, but that's OK. We are all big boys. In this instance re Maddox, he is spot on. Chris Fowler once told me that just about all coaches in all sports are thin skinned when it comes to their profession and don't take criticism very well. He also said that all of them think they can be sports broadcasters when they leave coaching. Point being they think only they know the coaching business and should never be questioned. Yet when it comes to another profession like broadcasting they think they are just as much an expert as those in the field.
