Pomeroy has VT's DRating at 70th. Bart Torvik has it at 69th. Their

methodologies are similar, so that agreement is not surprising. Neither our offense nor defense was bad. Neither were either excellent, so we ended up with a mediocre season. Hopefully, you remember that we did try switching to a 1-3-1 zone versus Georgia Tech. We played it poorly and got torched. (In fairness, at times we played our man-to-man poorly and got torched in it.)
