We'll have to agree to disagree on that.

At USF, Greenberg went 7 straight years with no NCAA appearance, was 0-20 against top 25 opponents, and barely won more than half his games. The natives were definitely restless in Tampa. Why VT took a look at that situation and decided to nearly triple Greenberg's compensation is baffling- they were only bidding against themselves. At the time, it seemed like a panic move by Weaver after getting rejected by Jim Baron at the 11th hour.
