He has a lot of Leon Bond qualities in a sense to me. His best skill is his athleticism, which is where he scores a lot. Good form on the shot but isn’t a shooter and isn’t really a true scorer. He’s low rated because there isn’t really a + skill beyond his athleticism but if the soft skills develop, it’s a great pick up. I liken him to Leon bond because bond could produce against equal/lesser due to his athleticism but once he got to P5 he wasn’t productive. I see the same for Jones at this point. Mutts I think is his ultimate best comp but remains to be seen if his feel for the game is similar. All in all, if you expect him to be a difference maker year 1, you’ll likely be disappointed but I think by year 3/4, he will be a good to great acc player. There’s a lot to like in the pickup but the big if - is if development happens.
