...it happened once. But we've had a string of years where we had fewer teams than we should have gotten into the tournament based on performance in the tournament alone. It's almost like the committee is selecting performance criteria specifically to allow fewer ACC teams in lately? Is Fox and ESPN directing this IOT break up the conference? We know SEC basketball has been getting a lot more air play these last several years on ESPN channels than the ACC. I think the last year it was roughly equal was 3-4 years ago, and the SEC has been getting more coverage since. I laugh when people say ESPN's football conference is the SEC, and their basketball conference is the ACC. That may have been true 10 years ago, but these days they prefer the SEC in all sports.
