What I remember about Dell and defense

is that he often looked like he wasn't really trying and then he would come up with a steal or redirect an offensive player into making a bad shot. Over time, I became convinced that Dell actually put more effort into defense than most people gave him credit, but he was very fluid in his motion and stoic in his demeanor, both of which made it look like he wasn't putting in the effort.
