outlook bleak but, my level of concern for the program has been steadily rising for a while now. I think Mike Young is a good coach and more recently has been put in an untenable situation due to a lacking NIL program. However, the levels of attrition, recruiting, staffing and support are all concerns, again in my opinion, not wholly tied to NIL challenges. I hope things get addressed, rectified or at least adjusted. VT as a program may have some challenges not wholly correctable but, they need to quit shooting themselves in the foot by controlling what they can control. This last comment applies not only to the program but, the department as a whole.
