Devries is from Iowa
His brother played football for Iowa.
His family is from Iowa.
And Iowa can probably afford to pay him as much or more money than WVU.
So even though I would argue WVU is the better basketball job, there’s a lot of common sense reasons for him to take the Iowa job. But I think Devries does have a fairly stiff buyout.
