Fortunately, you have a poor grasp of VT basketball as it relates to

recruiting and retention. You, like so many others, me included at one time, believe bringing in a new HC and staff will instantly transform VT hoops into a top 5 ACC program. That once in 100 year rainbows and unicorn hire may be the exception, but that's as likely to happen as monkeys flying out of you know what. There are many VT fans that believe that bringing in the HC at JMU would shoot VT to the top of the ACC heap. That rarely happens. Is CMY the answer? If he had the resources and NIL cash that UNC or a Georgetown has, he could well be. Without that in his briefcase, we'll never know.
