Both freshmen looked more poised and seemed very decisive, Collins just isn’t a great defender and shows flashes on offense but the ball hasn’t fallen for him and we have a big sample size. One thing he does do well is box out, which was a massive sore spot last year. He also threatens the rim better than anyone else on the team, but it’s hard to get there when you present zero outside threat. He got more aggressive last night later on but was still missing 5 footers. That said Beran and Long didn’t show particularly well on the offensive end either, so it could be first game jitters
