We have consistently struggled in high ball screen situations against athletic guards ever since Tyrece Radford transferred, and UNC is the #1 program where that shows up time and again. Every game against them is like clockwork, we can score pretty well but we have no prayer of stopping the two man game. We haven’t beaten UNC since 2022 which was the year we played them early on December 4th, they went on to decline an NIT invite that season. Since Wilson got hurt UNC is literally running ball screens every play, either up top or on the wing. They always involve Trimble and he almost always straight line drives and forces you to stop him. I thought TJ could play that role but I guess he’s not ready to play more than 2 minutes.
