Eh. I think it depends.

Clemson isn’t a must-win game if VT beats UNC or UVa on the road later in the year. But those are two likely losses. So I would say yes, this is a must-win game for VT, and it needs the Miami game too, plus the three home games. That would put it at 5-2 over this final stretch, with a 21-10, 10-8 record. Probably good enough. But fall one win short — say only win at Clemson or Miami and go 4-3 instead — and it will be tough to get into the tournament with a 20-11, 9-9 record.
