If you flipped our H/A schedule, we'd have less Q1 opportunities
NCAA has started posting their NET rankings and Nitty-Gritty sheet, and it fills out the whole schedule in the Quadrants. The last 4 teams in Q1 opps right now are all away games for VT and they are +30 in NET rankings. Flipping the schedule makes them Q2, with only 1 current Q2 game that would become Q1.
The real bad part (currently) is the lack of Q2 opportunities VT has. There are currently 5 home ACC games located in Quadrant 3 and 1 in Quadrant 4. I don't expect them all to stay there, as NET rankings should get a pump once conference play starts for a few of those teams, but that's where VT's schedule really doesn't help. I think this team will need to get to 21 wins at minimum to make the tournament.

ACC slate is rough, NET Quadrant Home/Road discrepancy is badly skewed IMO

Just win. All this worry over Q1, Q2 etc isn't necessary. Just win games
