15 years ago it was 25k and a car wasn’t enough (looking at you Adidas and Nike wiretap). 10 years ago at Lville it was only one strip club visit on the official visit instead of 2. The game has always been this way under the table and was basically known bc of scandal after scandal coming to light, it being open now isn’t earth shattering. I also don’t think an asst coach should be putting this out….. easily sets the market for what VT is recruiting at, and showing that the pitch isn’t being bought…. I frankly would be pissed if a uva coach did the same. Surprised no one in this thread has said that yet, and I know within the industry recruiting this is all more of an open secret, but this sets a perception that tech is recruiting at this level (which may be a good or bad thing, impossible to know without context), and Frazier was so pissed the pitch to a recruit wasn’t working he went to tweet about it. Or guys are renegotiating their NIL on the team….
