I think this shows how badly UNC needs guards.

They lost their starters and have two 4 star HS combo guard recruits coming in. JY has a legit chance to get on the floor with PT if UNC doesn’t improve it’s guard situation through the portal. I think UNC sees him as experienced P4 player and some insurance against a developing potential lack of guard depth.
