this even. When I left the reception, I checked the score. We were tied at 21. I walked back to the hotel and up to my room and turned on the TV just in time to see Poteat cut the UNC lead to at 31-27. From that point, we were outscored 60-32. Maybe there's some alternate universe where I never checked the score and we won the game and where Cassell Coliseum was packed with VT fans. I think I'm more disappointed in the fans than the team. At least the team brought it nearly every game--they may not have played well, but they showed up and played hard. The fans, not so much. (I'm referring to those who weren't there, not those who were.)
