There’s as much “talent” IMO on this roster as last year’s roster.
It’s just distributed differently and had less time to get better. CMY did a monumental job bringing these players in on such short amount of time and with (reportedly) inferior NIL money. Coach and staff have worked their tails off to continue to compete. CMY is a never quit guy and it’s seemingly rubbing off on these players.
