UK fans are probably celebrating
There was lots of talk about possibly firing him following the loss to Oakland. Now UK doesn't have pay him that $33 million buyout they would have owed him had they fired him.
Interestingly enough, Arkansas doesn't have to pay UK a buyout either.
I've never understood the appeal of Cal. The recruits supposedly want to play for him because he can "get them to the NBA". Those first round draft picks would have made the NBA playing at pretty much anywhere.
All that $$ UK and it's bagmen and boosters spent for only one national title. That's one hell of an ROI.
