No coaching, only athletes, 100% pickup style basketball. We aren’t going to be able to stay in front of them, and they’re going to pressure our perimeter players into oblivion. We aren’t running offense anywhere near as efficiently as we have in the past. Usually we’d have a shot against undisciplined teams because of the system, but we aren’t running the system this year. Defensively we’re good against set offense, bad against pick and roll and the two man game. With the exception of the big guy, NCSU only runs PnR. I expect most messages on this board come 2PM to be calling for MY’s head after another 20+ point loss. I would disagree with those posters, but this team is about as ill-equipped to handle day in/day out P6 basketball as I’ve seen us put on the floor. Clemson was the only time since thanksgiving that this team has shown any kind of physical want-to. Until that changes we’ll get run over by athletic teams
