UNC had bases loaded with nobody out in the bottom of 1st - didn't score.
The heels could have put a very damaging blow emotionally to USC-w but failed to do so. USC-w is now jacked up while UNC has to feel like they blew one heck of an opportunity.

Walks and strikeouts eat into one's pitch count. But it was a great recovery just the same.
